What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and keep you signed in. Doughsense uses only essential cookies required for the application to function correctly.
Cookies We Use
Doughsense uses essential cookies only. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
- Session tokens: keep you signed in while you use the app.
- Authentication: verify your identity and protect your account.
- Login indicator: a simple flag shared across doughsense.com subdomains so the website can show a "Dashboard" link instead of "Log in" when you are signed in. Contains no personal data and is cleared when you log out.
- Theme preference: remember your light or dark mode choice.
- Device identifier: stored in browser storage for session management.
- Security verification: Cloudflare may set a cookie to verify you are not a bot and protect the site from automated abuse.
Third-Party Cookies
One third-party service may set cookies when you use Doughsense. This is functional, not tracking.
- Stripe: processes subscription payments securely. Stripe may set cookies during the checkout flow.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Plausible is a privacy-friendly analytics tool, hosted in the EU, that works entirely without cookies.
- No cookies set: Plausible does not use cookies or local storage.
- No personal data: no individual tracking or cross-session profiling.
- IP addresses anonymised: hashed with a daily-rotating salt and never stored.
- Aggregate data only: page views, referrers, device type, and country-level location.
Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies at any time.
Please note that disabling essential cookies may affect the functionality of Doughsense. You may not be able to sign in or use certain features if essential cookies are blocked.
Updates
This cookie policy may be updated from time to time. We will post any changes on this page. Last updated February 2026.
